Online Store
Customers are ready to buy. Your website needs to be ready too.
An online store needs to do more than put products on a page. Customers need to understand what they're buying, choose what suits them, complete payment confidently and know their order has gone through.
We'll build that buying process into the website properly, then show you or your nominated administrator how to manage the Store after handover.
A working buying system
Make it easy for customers to understand, choose and buy.
A good Store starts before the checkout. Your products need a structure that makes sense to the people buying them, and each step should help them move forward without having to decode how the website works.
Products make sense
Categories and product information help customers find what is relevant and understand what they are choosing.
The next step is obvious
Customers can move from browsing to a decision without losing track of where they are or what happens next.
The checkout earns trust
The cart, checkout and confirmation experience are treated as part of the customer journey, not as an afterthought.
The business can operate it
The Store is planned around a practical order workflow and handed over with training, rather than becoming a system only the developer understands.
From interest to order
Each step needs to make sense before the customer reaches the next one.
The important buying stages stay simple and visible.
- 01
Browse
Find the right products and categories without having to hunt for them.
- 02
Choose
Understand the product well enough to make a confident decision.
- 03
Cart
Review the order clearly before moving to payment.
- 04
Pay
Complete the agreed checkout and payment process without unnecessary friction.
- 05
Confirmation
Know the order has been received and what happens next.
The business side of the Store
A completed checkout needs to leave you with an order you can actually deal with.
Taking payment is only one part of a Store. We'll configure the agreed order flow, transactional emails and the ordinary shipping, delivery or pickup arrangement established for the project.
The aim is that the customer receives the right confirmation and the business receives a clear order to act on.
You know your products, stock and customers. Our job is to make sure the website supports that process properly rather than getting in its way.
What the package covers
What the $6,900 Online Store package actually gives you.
The package covers the thinking, build, testing and handover needed for a standard commerce website. The written proposal then makes your exact project scope specific before work starts.
Plan the Store
We work through what you're selling, how customers need to find and choose it, what builds trust, how orders should work and what the Store needs from the beginning.
- Business + Commerce Discovery
- Commerce Blueprint
- Buyer, product and category structure
- Commerce search intent and trust requirements
Build the buying system
The website and Store are built together around the agreed buying path rather than treating commerce as a plugin added at the end.
- Up to 6 marketing/content pages plus necessary Store pages
- WooCommerce setup and product/category structure
- Up to 6 demonstration products
- 1 agreed primary payment gateway
- 1 ordinary shipping, delivery or pickup setup
- Transactional emails and commerce SEO
Test, refine and hand over
We test the buying path before launch, work through the included feedback and make sure the people running the Store understand the everyday workflow.
- End-to-end transaction testing
- 2 consolidated website revision rounds
- 2-hour shop administration training session
- Launch and handover
- Structured six-month review
Training and handover
The Store shouldn't become a system you're afraid to touch.
Once the Store is working, we'll spend two hours with you or the person you've nominated to administer it.
The session is there to make the everyday Store workflow understandable: managing the agreed product setup, working with orders and understanding the parts of the Store you're expected to operate after launch.
Shop administration training
Training is for the client or nominated administrator who will run the Store after handover.
Day-to-day products, orders, customers, stock and catalogue administration stay with your business.
Commerce Care is available separately for ongoing technical Store care. It does not turn WhitePointerNet into your shop administrator or an ongoing SEO agency.
When the project is more complex
Some Stores need more than the standard package. We'll identify that before we build it.
If your Store needs something outside the standard implementation, that does not make the project a problem. It means the extra work needs to be understood properly before anyone gives you an implementation price.
More standard products
Additional standard product entry is currently $35 per product when clean product information and assets are supplied during implementation.
More complex systems
Complex freight, custom inventory, ERP/POS/CRM integrations, marketplaces, major data migration, unusual payment architecture and bespoke subscriptions or memberships start with Business Systems Discovery.
Paid extensions, payment transaction charges, platform costs and similar external fees remain separate unless they are expressly included in your accepted proposal.
Part of a bigger website project?
Online Store can also form part of a larger WhitePointerNet project.
When the Store is commissioned at the outset with Website Growth or Business Launch, genuine overlap in discovery, design, communication and launch planning allows the commerce work to be bundled at a lower price.
Website Growth + Store
$3,450 Store bundle
For a business that needs deeper website work as well as the ability for customers to buy online.
Business Launch + Store
$3,450 Store bundle

Start with what you know
You don't need to arrive with the whole Store worked out.
Tell us what you sell, how customers buy from you now and what you need the website to make easier. We'll look at the business first, work out whether Online Store is the right fit and identify anything that needs a different approach before a project is agreed.
No finished technical brief required. Start with the business and we'll take it from there.
